HireUp is an Online platform for people with disability to find, hire and manage their own support workers
Responsibilities
1) Be responsible for the continuous monitoring and remediation of production and build pipeline issues
2) Debug and troubleshoot code, feeding back improvements
3) Continuously improve our monitoring and alerting systems
4) Build tooling to assist with operations and security (e.g. user access management, automated auditing)
5) Ensure that the pipeline from development to production remains unblocked and efficient
6) Mentor developers in building reliable production systems
7) Ad-hoc platform and feature development as required
Qualifications
1) A very strong developer (language agnostic)
2) Experience with setting up infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code(IaC)
3) Able to quickly read and reason about existing code and systems and make strategic improvements
4) Deep understanding of networking technologies
5) Skills in running a containerized platform
6) Experience with cloud computing preferably AWS
7) Experience setting up monitoring and observability using tools like sumo logic, datadog etc
8) Strong understanding of threat models and security controls when it comes to running infrastructure on the internet
9) A structured and consistent approach to troubleshooting
10)Approach work with high energy, drive and internal motivation
11) Exhibit adaptability, resilience, transparency, trustworthiness, passion and innate curiosity
12) Ability to work well in a team setting, being able to mentor and guide other team members
